Hi, my name is Stanley Su. I’m a student. I have been in Winnipeg for a few weeks, but I’m unfamiliar with this place like a fish out of water. Fortunately, Heartland International English School gave some students the opportunity to participate in the “Wonderful Winnipeg City Tours,” providing chances to gain knowledge outside school.

The city tours guide introduced Winnipeg’s origins like Louis Riel who is a “Father of Manitoba”. He also introduced some places such as Union Station, the North West Company and the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. He further presented that the famous character, James Bond, who was created in Winnipeg and based on Sir William Samuel Stephenson.

These experiences are important for new students just arriving to know Winnipeg. If you come here, you ought to join this wonderful tour.
