I had no time to say “thank you” to her, but I think I will remember her forever. Helping people in need is an important value.
I think that I will remember this moment forever. It was an autumn evening. My son was only about 10 years old. I was riding a motorcycle and picked him up from school. Suddenly, a car rushed towards us when we were passing a crossroad. We were hit. Exactly the car hit the back of my motorcycle, so I was safe, but my son was sitting at the back.
I had a blank mind at that time.
A woman ran towards me. She helped me to save my son from the bottom of the motorcycle and carried him to the side of road with me. She called the police and ambulance and then she told me that she was a doctor and checked my son. Fortunately, my son had no pain except in his foot.
This woman left quietly when the policemen and ambulance arrived. I had no time to say “thank you” to her, but I think I will remember her forever. Helping people in need is an important value.
As a result of this traumatic experience, I joined a volunteer group to help the elderly in my community. I also donated for disaster and epidemic relief agencies . I try my best to help these people in need and let the world have more love and warmth.
